First day of 3rd Grade

 

Wow, Paige has started 3rd Grade!

 

She had mixed emotions about starting school this year.  Usually she has her outfit picked out a week ahead of time and is insistant on riding the bus.  This year her outfit wasn't picked out until 9 pm the night before and "no way" was she going to ride the bus.   

 

At the end of her first day she was so happy she didn't want me to take her home! 

She said, "Mom, it feels like I have only been at school for two hours!"

 

We had fun, as usual, taking these first day of school pictures!  For some reason she had to have her head tilted and her shoulder raised in almost every picture :)  Quite the poser!

 

Finally we arrived at school and the first people we see are her great friends Athena and her little sister Naomi.  Paige and Athena were inseperable this summer.  This new friendship formed through gymnastics.  We are all very excited that they have the same teacher again this year.  A few things Paige says she is excited about these things this school year:

 

-Morning Recess Snacks

-Being able to have a water bottle at her desk

-Candy "before" lunch!  :)

-Bunnies in the other classroom
